Tenant Recording Phone calls...?

Called tenant to give notice of service call straight to voicemail..left message.

20 minutes later called tenant to see if access could be made for today....they answered and almost immediatley I heard a single beep and spaced every 5 or 6 seconds.

Relations have been strained lately.

This is maybe the 3rd or so time for beeping since Sept or so.

Sounds like I am being recorded.

Is this legal [with NO notice] in New Jersey?

Some furniture will need to be moved to do the work.

We gave notice today [AM] and hen conracorr called and said ha they had avalabiliy today.

I called back to ge he t's agreement with what iis only a few hours notice.

they said OK.

I think he means that it would have less potential for controversy or terseness if you simply place a note or written form of notice on their door.

Spoken communication is a two-way street that can often lead to accidents.

IOW, one off-hand remark can lead to an argument. When said "conversation" is on paper, it's less likely that words might be exchanged in anger. Make sense?

Yes...yes, I can see that that makes a lot of sense.

I "posted" something once before. Its receipt was denied and when I went there 3/4 days later, the envelope was still in the same place...wedged into the frame of the front door.

I thought as much, but erred on the side of caution. You know that implying that a "he" is a "she" is far worse than implying a "she" is a "he."

We females don't have gender-confidence issues as horribly as men do!
