Whoops, I think I mislead.
"I think it sounds like a good idea to have custody changed until mom can stop badmouthing. My husband's supposed to have "one of the best" attorneys and he has not suggested that."
That was in response to a repercussion for down the road.
This may sound like my husband is too weak or whatever, but he doesn't WANT to have custody changed, it would only be a last resort. There would be a change to so much in the children's lives that the situation w/his ex alienating would have to be irreconcilable to go to that step b/c he walks the line of not harming his kids more than his ex already does against the harm of a child when their dad is marginalized and pushed out of their life.
Also, we do not use the term parental alienation syndrome at all, we describe what happens and have examples from correspondence and emails. I agree it's not important to use a buzz word because ultimately there are themes of behaviors and we would have to prove whatever we allege.
