What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Kentucky

I have a question regarding the way the police handled a call, I posted a question about a Domestic Violence incident.

A police officer came to my house at around 3. I was sitting in a chair, and my girlfriend was sitting on the sofa.

The cop came in and asked her what happened and she told him that I had grabbed her, and hit her leg with a shoe. He asked me what happened. I told him, that I didn't touch. He then asked me to stand up and put my hands behind my back. He said NOTHING else, he took me out to the squad car, by that time two more city policemen where in my driveway. I was in the back of the car for around 15-20 minutes while they were inside talking to her.

He took me to jail, and when we got inside and he took the handcuffs off, He read me my rights before he asked me what happened.

Also, about an hour after I was taken to jail. A police officer came back to my house, and told my (pregnant)girlfriend and her step-father that-Me and my family were trash, That I'm a dead-beat so she should just tell me that I can sign the rights away to my child so I wont have to pay child support, then just never let me see the kid."

I dont really know anything about Police Procedure, My girlfriend and her step-father would swear to what the police officer said and even know his name.

Anything I can do with any of this?

With any of what? The officer is entitled to his opinion of you. I will also caution you that, odds are, you have a non contact order on your girlfriend... and you just violated it.

You can make a complaint to the employing agency regarding the conduct and statements of the officer who voiced his opinion. While he may be free to hold this opinion, if he showed up merely to state it, that was highly unprofessional ... though, I suspect he will have a different account of events.

As for the arrest, you can speak to an attorney. An arrest requires only probable cause. Your girlfriend stating that you hit her can be sufficient to support an arrest. By itself, it may not be sufficient to compel the state to prosecute or obtain a conviction, but it is usually sufficient to make the arrest.
