The Post Office should have an easement for residents to place mail boxes to facilitate delivery. If you have an issue, contact the local Post Master first.

You think the post office is not allowed to put mail boxes pretty much wherever it wants to?

Frankly, you should consider yourself lucky to have home delivery to begin with. Are you aware that tens of millions of people have to go to the post office to get their mail?

Mine goes to my the mail slot by my front door. Location has its privileges.

Even if they didn't deliver to my door (which they do here), if I had to go to the post office to pick up, it would literally be about 300 feet from my door. Yes, I live just that close to the nearest post office :D:D:D

The good news is that we are most often one of the very FIRST deliveries of the day, so we get our mail pretty darn early. The bad news is that when we have a substitute carrier, or when it's our regular carrier's day off, we are often the LAST delivery of the day.

Location, location, location ;)

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

So...How far on your property? At the edge? If so...What is the big deal? Postal service places their mail in the box. Neighbor picks up once a day. No. Big. Deal.

Honestly...With all that is happening in this country this seem a petty complaint.

But perhaps you can give us more info that will change our opinion.
