What is the name of your state? new jersey

situation: i signed a contract that had no specific right to cancel for the purpose of attending an educational facility in order to obtain a cetificate of training for a 10 month program.

i had to cancel the contract because my employer would not be flexible in accomodating my scheduling needs in order to attend the program. since i realized this was going to be a problem within 24 hours i feel that i should be entitled to the registration fee back because i informed the school within 36 hours that i would not be able to attend because of work commitments.

the school refuses to return the registration fee and i would like to know if the three-day rule to rescind applies in this specific area of education. most of the contract disputes are over merchandise not courses of instruction or training.

do i have any entitlements to a refund of this registration fee and can the school be allowed to take money that they have not earned?

Registration fees pay for administartive costs associated with setting up students in the system and processing paperwork (admins don't work for free you know...)

As soon as you signed the contract and they started processing, they more than earned the money...
