What is the name of your state? georgia
I am being sued by a Collection agency for a credit card debt. As a pro se litigant I have swapped discovery information back and forth for 6 months. Now I am on the Superior Court Docket in County Court for my case to be tried. My question is this: There are over 500 cases to be heard on the same day, 22 of Nov. Is that possible? Also what are the chances of an attorney driving 4 hours across the state to represent their client on my dispute for $2.000.00? Any ideas?

Well..

I would bet that of those 500 cases, 400 of them will be decided by default because one or the other party doesn't show up. And, if the lawyer for the CA you're dealing with is handling a large chunk of those...he'll be there.

So, my suggestions is show up...see what happens...
