My impression is that the OP is concerned about what will be the value of the vehicle whenever s/he goes to trade/sell it. I didn't notice any indication that the sale is pending.

If you have been driving & enjoying the car for these three years, you have 'used up' some portion of the vehicle's value just by driving it. It is not now worth whatever you paid for it then. I say, keep on driving it until you wear it out/wreck it/get tired of it. Then do what was apparently done to you ... sell it as it is. If the buyer checks Carfax or other title search, they will know. If they don't, that much better for you. The 'salvage' characterization just provides some details as tho' the vehicle's actual history. Caveat emptor - let the buyer beware.

We don't tell people how to break the law here. Normally.....! But here's how to remove the salvage brand from your title. Find a time machine, go back in time to right before your car was wrecked, stop the wreck, and voila the the title will be clean!

LMAO... Hello  McFly

You don't get it. You bought a car with low value due to prior total loss. You probably paid too much for it. You failed to check the title before you bought it. There is NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT ANY OF IT. Next time check the title BEFORE you buy.

I paid a lot less then what it was worth back then. It was a deal of a lifetime. This car is great. Carmax does not report Salvage.

My goal now is to sell the car so I can get a good price on it based on the blue book value. Well, my last resort is probably is to drive for many many years until it wears out and then sell it.

The buyer will ask me to see the Title correct when it is time to sell the car? Carfax does not list my car as salvage anywhere.

The Blue Book value that you are referring to will reflect the salvage title...unless you plan on pulling a fast one.

Bet it doesn't seem like such a great deal now, huh?

You just don't get it do you! The "Kelly Blue Book" does NOT give values for vehicles with salvage titles! What you need to do is try real hard to find someone dumber than you to sell it too!

There are other ways to get a value for a salvaged vehicle. Most of them you'd have to pay for. To get a rough estimate, take the KBB value and cut it in half. It could even be less then that.
