That is what we ALL really hope for, for our kids' sake.

You are absolutely right butter. We all want what is best for our children. We need to see deep down in their little hearts and wonder what it is they need--for their well being.

We need to simply forget about who are ex really was to us--and focus in on who he is now. People mature, ya know? People do grow up.
For instance, the original poster's ex may one day not smoke pot anymore. He may be the best dad a kid could ask for one day.

My ex smoked pot, he beat me, he emotionally destroyed my self confidence/ self esteem, he stalked me, he destroyed my car...the list could go on forever. But that was when he was 20 yrs old....now he is 28 and he is an AWESOME dad, and my friend. Things change...people change... I'm glad he did.

Really??? That is news to me. If you don't have the same opinion as the daily posters, than yes you are simply attacked for your own opinions and emotions.

I am not attacking you butter...I never have and I never will.

I understand. Parents will do anything to protect their children. Maybe in your minds eye you think you are protecting them. Please just see his side....for 5 seconds.

Your children will love you so much more. You'll see a totally beautiful side of them if they just are allowed to love their dad. Imagine not having yours. Imagine someone holding your father away from you.

Life lessons

Sometimes growing up is also forgiving someone who has hurt you.

Guess what friends?
I have a visit scheduled tomorrow in Tacoma @ 6:00 pm at the same place. I'm going to drive there no matter what. I have completed the second doctors evaluation. I hope my X will NOW show, and NOT make up anymore excuses. I have done all that I can do, and now it's in Gods hands. Hoping and praying to see my sons TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

Thanks Arrici

That's a big THANK YOU from me too.

Your post hits home. I want this mess to end. I'm willing to forget the past, (never speak of it) for the sake of OUR sons.
I love them beyond words and my X knows that. Time to ALL grow up.

Love for the children always will prevail.

The funny thing about this whole battle is...no one has to be the loser....everyone can win. Butterfree can, you can, and most importantly the children can.
