;)...yep Musicman, in our sue crazy society, it happens quite frequently. BTW...I appreciate your common sense since it isn't so common around here as Mark Twain would probably say ha ha.

You and music man make the perfect couple

Of COURSE they "let" a person sue for xyz...that's how our country works! It's the success of the suit that is in question :rolleyes::rolleyes:

I wonder if the OP is going to find himself with a charge of trespassing.

After all, you turn onto an unpaved road for an HOUR?

Whatcha doing on an unmarked road in the dark for an HOUR?

Why do you think that an unpaved road would be safe?

Why would you think that an obvious construction site would be free of hazard?

How did the drug deal go?

Put a claim into your insurance company if you have no deductibles. Insurance companies are not your friends, even if its your own. They will do whatever they can to not pay a claim. They will mess with you to the point they think you will drop the issue. Right ecms12? But in whole, they are responsible for any damage to your automobile. Their even responsible for their actions that put you at harm whether it be a peronal injury or emotional . Put a claim into your insurance company, see what they say. Thats why we pay for insurance.

Its irrelavant what you were doing on the road.

No drugs thanks. I was looking for a place to use my metal detector. I research old places online and then go check them out for suitability. Didn't know my truck would find metal:D

Its easy to assume the worse of someone isn't it.

That is incorrect stiper. Your insurance company will not "do whatever it can to avoid paying", if you have collision coverage, they HAVE to pay. Any decent company will be friendly and easy to deal with. You pay your deductible, they pay the rest.

I wish it was as simple as putting in an insurance claim. Auto insurance is a joke really, you'll end up paying more in the long run putting in a claim than it is to just fix stuff on your own dime. Unless it is MAJOR of course. The insurance company just wacks you with higher rates and surcharges its crazy.
