What is the name of your state? Kentucky

My mother wants to make sure I end up with her home and is scared that it would be lost if she ever ended up in a nursing home. She wants to put it in my name.

Is there a way for this to be done?

She can quit claim it to you with Life Estate to herself.

Or she can deed it to you outright.

Or she can sell it to you.

Question?

Quit claim what is that?

Can she sell it to me for a price less than market value?
Thanks for your help.

If she owes no money on it she can do any damn thing she wants with it. Go see a Real Estate attorney. It's a simple process and won't cost that much.

It will also do you and your mother a favor and ease her mind.
