What is the name of your state?California
My Mother reluctantly signed an irrivocable trust before she died of lung cancer. The trust document named a business associate/friend as Trustee. The Trustee and his attorney wrote the trust document, and granted all decisions, etc. to the Trustee alone, specifically stating that my sisters, brother and myself had no say about anything. The Trustee has violated state laws (ie. refusing accountings to beneficiaries when asked, etc.) and breached stipulations in the trust document, along with denying our brother of his own disbursements for medical care and the like. The Trustee pays himself outrageous fees, while giving us barely anything. We have been trying to litigate, but he uses our trust money to defend himself and we can't use our trust money to prove his guilt! Does the district attorney, or anyone, have the duty to press charges, or at least investigate our allegations?
We have proof of our charges. We just don't have any more money to spend on attorneys!
Thank you for your time
