I am not sure if anyone is familiar with my situation I have posted on here before. I have sole custody of my son and his bio fathers visitation was terminated after two years of no contact. He does not support him at all and I have no order for support. My sons paternal grandmother does see my son and I recently found out that despite her repeated claims that she doesn't know where he is she has all along. Kinda thought so anyway but anyway she has told me that he is having serious medical problems and though I have asked her about this she says nothing. My question is do I have any right to know whats happening or is ther anyway I kind find out because she won't tell if it is something that is hereditary or not.
Also on another situation, I have a friend who has joint physical and legal custody of his son with his moron biomom. Well apparently he showed up for his two weeks with my friend with spots all over his body and he found out through daycare that the little boy had had a 103 fever the night before which she had said nothing about. When he questioned her about this she said she beleived the to be "flea bits". Well that did not satisfy my friend or myself for that matter and come to find out that it was chicken pox. Meanwhile another child and adult became infected because she failed to question these marks or fever. When he called and told her it was chicken pox her story suddenly changed to "he must have been infected when he was there two weeks ago" Then she threatened to have a police officer come with her to pick up the child and take him to the doctors again. I told my friend not to worry because it is his legal time with the child and he provided medical care for him. My and his question is this: There have been many situations where she has ignored situations with this child and his best interest and anyway I look at it..whatever story she chooses to go with..she is not looking for the childs best interest. She should not have him in an environment where he could get 30 "flea bites" in a couple of hours and if he was infected two weeks prior with chicken pox, which is unlikely because no one else was sick in the household until 2-3 days after his son arrived, she should have checked out a 103 fever. Sorry the question is...What is the possibility that a judge would give my friend custody and can he bring this neglect up in court? Should I contact CPS? There are several other situations including possible child molestation of her other child which we are concerned with. I should mention my friend is married and his wife has another child...they are the two whom where infected.
