I am in Texas. Yesterday my wife sent me an e-mailed confession of her adultry. (The wife of her lover caught her, so my wife wanted to tell me first.) Because of these circumstances, I think "working things out" is not an option now. She will be getting her Master's and her Teaching Certification in May, enabling her to make about 17K$ more a year. I was relying on our combined income to further my education as well as pay for half of our living expenses in general. I cannot afford even a small apartment on my own. We share a one bedroom already. I do not know if I will be able to bear living with her, since she does not want to call it quits with her lover. This is all still sinking in. I'm still numb. I'm trying to stay calm and make wise decisions. What I would like is a divorce. I think she should have to move out, but still offer me some financial support until I am able to make enough to support myself. I'm not saying for her to pay my rent. I just want something close to what her share of the rent was. What should I do?

Any and all advice truly appreciated.
