Thats a great suggestion however I spent over 50k fighting to keep my kids in the divorce the judge awarded me sole legal and sole physical after all was said and done.******

and I just wanted to let the other person responding that if I put my problems out there then I can't be upset if people criticize me or have harsh comments thats just life.

:confused::confused:

So. You spent 50K to move the children to another state and NOW you are claiming that you can't afford to follow through with the CO? REALLY?

NO i paid 50K to keep my kids. Back during the divorce my ex husband was an abusive drug addict but his dad knew the judge long story short it had to go all the way to appeal and the superior court overruled the orignial order that he had unsupervised visitation to supervised visits.

The order was done via phone just this past DEC. and I moved last DEC 2010.

Then it's going to be far too early to modify the order in court (even if that was likely - which I doubt).

You're going to have to find a way to either fly the kids there on your dime, or get Dad to Nevada (assuming his schedule allows for that AND assuming he'd agree - which he's not obliged to do) and provide him acceptable accommodations (again on your dime).

If not, he's got a pretty slam dunk case for contempt.

Ask your attorney this question:

"Hey, my ex says he can't pay child support. That's also tough luck on my part, right?".

See what your attorney says.

(Honestly - you may need to look for a different attorney! :eek: )

is the state handling your support? because they have better resources. it might be better to let the state handle that part.

and keep in mind, because he is breaking the court order, doesn't make it okay for your to break the court order.
