oh yes...my ex... we were dealing with this issue, when the it seemed like he would be living in CA and would be the ncp. He claimed I was trying to "control" his parenting tome by flying with our DD from CO to CA. He ended up moving to CO so the issue was never agreed upon.
I should have been more clear ... are there parents who have insisted child fly totally alone and had the judge grant that in an order? Like Ldij said, the judge is likely to think that parent is a whackjob once their sentiments see the light of day in a courtroom.

Its all a moot (like that stealth, not mute??? :) ) point anyways, since my ex will never file anything. I mean ANYTHING. Unless I file for something in court, he will never make any motion, action, nothing. He much more likes to complain about how helpless he is. And how mean his exes are. But he doesn't want to do anything about it.

But, this is just what I THINK. Who knows? My ex could fall in luv again, and some interfering bimbo may try to make him take action on something in his life, like his kids. My ex refers to me as his "reasonable ex." You should see his "unreasonable ex." She's quite a piece of work.

No, it does not. It costs exactly the same. What DOES add an additional cost is the UM fee - which is normally paid at the airport upon check-in.
The UM fee can be paid in halves. I have always been asked if I want to pay the entire UM fee for both legs of the trip or if I just want to pay the UM fee for one way. This has held true on AA, USa, The big D, SW, and NW.

Absolutely. All you have to pay at check-in is the UM fee FOR THAT FLIGHT. LDi's point was that, if the NCP is required to pay 100% of travel expenses, then the CP could potentially get stuck paying the UM fee for the one flight.

It really does take a lot of energy to be a controlling dictator like profmum's explained of her child's dad. That sounds like too much work for Humus Jr's Dad. :p
