At this point we don't know where to turn, so we are touching every venue.
I'm surprised by the lack of professionalism this dealer has served and I firmly believe SS is wrong. He should not be able to impair my families quality of life and I am ashamed to admit that he's taken advantage of a middle class family at such a vulnerable time in our economy.
My husband purchased a car from S Sales in Q., MA on July 3rd, 2008. It's a used Cadillac that seemed like it was in great condition. The same day my husband drove the car off the lot, the engine overheated. We bought it back to the dealer, SS and his repair shop could not find any thing wrong. It happened a second time and we decided to bring it to a Cadillac Dealership to give it a complete diagnostic overview. On 7/29/2008 the Cadillac dealership explained that the gaskets were blown and that's why the car was over heating.
SS stated, he would replace the engine because it would be less expensive than trying to replace the gaskets. My husband agreed, we waited almost two weeks for the new engine and then left the car with S on 8/14/2008.
My husband followed up about the car on 8/18/2008 and SS stated that he changed his mind and was not going to replace the engine but fix the original problem. My husband asked how much longer that would be and he threatened to drag the repair longer and leave us without a car. We are a middle class family making ends meet. My husband and I are both good honest people who are working hard to raise a two year old. It's imperative for us to have two cars in our family and S Sales is being unethical. Can you offer any help or suggestions?
We’ve had the car for less than two months and it has not worked properly! We asked for our money back, he's refused. We waited patiently to have it fixed and he's been unable to deliver.
