I need some advice
My daughter tryed out for cheerleading.
She didn't make it this year because the slip handed back to her said she needs gymnastic abilities. No where in the rules & regulations does it state one has to have gymnastic abilities. The advisor said that girls could do these stunts an be awarded 10 points to their scores. In other words, we feel that you could screw up in almost everything you do and make up for it by doing flips, etc...
I'm very active with the school PTO and have helped to raise lots of money for the school. My husband thinks that it is favoritism, and that is a hard thing to prove. I 've written a letter to the school superintendant and all Board members. I am not a poor sport here, even the varsity cheerleaders thought she should have made it.
Are we allowed to ammend the ruling and if so, if we do go into the superintendants office should we have a lawyer present ?
