I was pulled over on I-5 south a couple of weeks ago, and told by the officer that a DIFFERENT cop travelling NORTH on I-5 used moving radar and that I was going 90 mph. I was never going anywhere close to 90. The officer gave me a ticket, even though he wasn't the one who clocked me, and the site where he pulled me over was about 7 miles from where I supposedly committed the offense. I am going to plead not guilty, can anyone give me some advice please??

Oh great and wise IAAL--
I beg of you to please bestow some of your advice upon me. I'm not like a lot of the other people on this board who just want to cheat the system so they can continue to drive drunk and reckless and put us all in danger. I have a legitimate beef with this citation and I would really like to have a fair chance at beating it. Thank you....

My response:

I wish I knew Oregon law in these regards, but I don't. And, to give you an opinion based upon my ignorance may prove to be more dangerous to you.

I would suggest, however, that you use your search engine to locate sites that offer anecdotes or suggestions concerning radar guns, or speed traps, or calibration of radar, etc. You'll find a lot on the subject, I am sure.
