In SC, what is the probably punishment for someone that has been charged with unlawful use of the telephone? My girlfriend's ex has been making harrassing phone calls to my house, and I've now filed a report with the police. I have to go tomorrow to finish the paperwork, at which time they say they will issue a warrant. Does this mean he'll be arrested, and what is the probable punishment?

On another note, can I now get a restraining order against him to keep him from calling my house or coming on my property?

You can ask the court

for a restraining order but they may or may not give it.
Unlawfull use of telephone is a criminal offense punishable by fines, imprisonment,or both and is a violiation of state and federal law.A warrant could be for lots of things like maybe to conduct a wiretap. An arrest warrant is for an arrest.
