In my many talks with Hex over Perrier and Orange juice and a good steak, he had told me that he has covered many a tractor pull, midget races and even a few Formula 1 events in his years as a reporter. He even raced at Media Day at the Chillicothe, Mo. race track and came in third.

So that was close. But right about now he's settling down for a nice relaxing brunch of bagels, lox, cream cheese with capers and thinly sliced onions and tomatoe and a tall glass of iced tea....if I don't miss my guess.

i am fixing to lose my trailer
