Well best news yet ,judge handed down temp. custody orders today on both kids. Mom actually asked the judge to seperate her children ,b/c the boy is not my husbands. That was the clincher for the judge. To top it all off mom cancelled tonights visit and told worker she was not sure wether she would come next week or even continue this at all.
On another note we expressed our plans for how we wanted to do visitation w/ foster mom and she got upset emailed the worker about it. He agreed with us that contact in our home only was the best option.He clearly did not understand the purose of overnights and visits in her home. Needless to say that was not the response she wanted.
Clearly this isnt over but so far so good. We could not be happier at this point.

Good news! Should the children be with you by this weekend?

I'm curious about the F.M., do you know if she had expected to be able to adopt the children, or at least the little boy? I've heard of foster parents accepting foster children with the expectation they would be available for adoption, only to have the children placed elsewhere. It's a crappy way for the system to treat the 'foster to adopt' parents, but that's not your responsibility. You & your husband are to be commended for keeping the children together in this case. The bio mom sounds like a real loser.

The kids have been with us since last weekend . Fm says she had no intention of adopting ,but we believe otherwise. Biomom is pretty crappy,she only thinks of herself ,never her kids.
