Visa got rejected

So I and my best friend applied for a visa to the states, I received the visa and he didn't because his school transcript was a fake. He does go to the school but he changed his results. Anyway so his visa obviously was rejected. And after some research we found out that he will never be admitted to the US ever again and or some European countries too. My question is, is there anything that can be done? Like an appeal or something, I don't know.

Alas, what he has is officially "Immigration Fraud." This is a lifetime ban. There are only two ways that this can be reversed and neither is going to be easy. One is to show the fraud didn't really happen, but that's not going to be easy because it clearly did and unlike a criminal proceeding, there's no reasonable doubt or other rules that will help you get that reversed.

Second, way is a waiver. This is extremely difficult. The standards are high. Just because he regrets his past attempt isn't going to matter. He needs to show either some overwhelming humanitarian cause for him to enter the US or he has to show that he meets the requirements for admissibility (usual due to family in the US) and that there would be extreme hardship if the waiver remains in place.

He can try a good immigration attorney, but I'm not hopeful.
