What is the name of your state?VA I am a NCP with issues.....lol. Thats not anything new right? My problem is that everytime a holiday comes around, the CP has a fit and tries to argue with me until I give in, which I never do. This last time I did, and missed out on the majority of my daughters 3rd birthday. There is a court order for visitation, and then a modification. The court order states that I have my daughter on her birthday every even numbered year for the day. The Modification states nothing about Birthdays and only relates to specific times during christmas and summer vacation. The Mod. also states at the end that all terms and conditions of the original court order shall remain in full force and effect except as otherwise modified herein. Of course CP thinks that since the Mod. states nothing about Birthdays that I simply don't get them. CP, however said she would be nice by letting me visit our daughter for 3 hrs that evening. Was my first birthday with my daughter. Past problem have also included Easter and Christmas where I have had to deal with alot of argument on part of CP to get the time I deserve with our daughter. I refuse to argue, which stirs the pot even more. CP also refused to sign a copy of the notification of dates for summer vacation I gave to her for this summer. Isn't the CO supposed to help avoid arguments and misunderstandings? CP has continued to interpret the CO to her desires. I have documented these instances on paper But I'm not sure what good it will do. CP always seems to know when I have a tape recorder so that hasn't worked out well. My question is, what should I or can I do about the missed time on my daughters birthday and the aggrivated visitations on holidays? Wierd thing is, theres no problem during regular visitations.
