Success!!! I took the route I've taken for five years and talked to the NCP first. He saw reason in my request and was happy to comply. He then began giving me even more information than I had asked for! :-)

So, first course of action should always be to attempt working things out with your ex first. Something I've done from the beginning with some success. Save the courts and lawyers for last ditch efforts.

You've all shared a great deal of opinions. You've called me interfering, bitter, controlling. None of you knows my situation and you've all made assumptions about me based on your own personal experiences. Shame on you!!!

I doubt I will be posting again. I hope you all can work out your issues. My 4-year old son is very well-adjusted and extremely happy and will continue to be so as long as I stay an informed mother!

Bye!!

I'm glad you were able to work things out with your ex. But NO ONE called you "bitter" as I recall those were mammabear's words. Your right, no one knows your situation...and based on what you posted, the assumptions about you were correct lol. I do recall someone telling you to try and work this out with your ex, before taking him to court. I guess you took that advice, and see...it worked! We will really miss you, and thank you for your good wishes. We will take your advice and work out our issue's...we feel so ashamed :o

I am glad you took the high road. It really works out in the end, and everybody is happy.

Good Luck.

I'm sorry. Something about this makes no sense. Didn't she say originally that he didn't think it was any of her business, implying that she has already attempted to talk to him. Didn't she make him seem all flaky and that he was deliberately keeping things from her by not answering his phone? Didn't she call him an "unreasonable""control freak"? Wasn't she the one that thought she would have to do this through the courts because he (paraphrasing) only responds to the letter of the law and not courtesy?

Now she's all, yeah, like I said all along, you should just try to work things out. See you guys were all wrong, I AM a great person and certainly superior to all of you.

I don't know. Is it just me?

No...theother, it's not you lol. She did say all those things, she probably found out she would lose in court, and decided to take someone's advice from FA to talk things out with her ex lol. It' s never us....we ARE superior to all lmfaoooooooooooooo. AND, we are not "bitter" either hehehehe

Damn I miss all the fun. But I'd take usmc, kidoday, etc's advice anyday. They actually have a clue to how the courts actually work.

Where in this response did you give advice? You are having a ball at this posters expense, when in fact this is "FREE ADVICE", not let me give you my "FREE OPINION" and laugh at you.

If and when I PMS, you may just know i, I stand behind my comment that VG was simply ranting and giving opinions. I don't think the poster cares what her opinions are, I know I don't. I have not seen VG give "ADVICE" at all, just her opinions, night and day, never ending.. Come on really.

I was talking to VG, I actually thought you gave good advice and was getting tired of seeing every one throwing out their opinions, but you didn't see that. I was not refering to you, but thank you for the comment.

Thanks Momma - T. I try to only post the legal advice without emotion. I don't know what happened to me in this post. I guess I just got out of control. :(
