I quit my job about 2 months ago without notice because my workplace got unbearable to work at. They promised me a raise after 90 days which i was never givin after i had worked there for about 6 months. They also hired me in telling me that i was going to do one job and when that job opened they gave it to someone else and demoted me from helping a shipping and recieving guy to sweeping and shoveling metal chips. I also was once cut on the job and have scars but they never sent me to the clinic after i showed the bosses the cut which now i have limited felling in my finger. Do i have any grounds to take action at all? I have not been able to find work since!

You have the right to file a claim i would asume, if there was a incident report filled out at the time of you cutting your fingure....
Also if the cut was bad enough to cause a bad scar and leave limited feeling in your fingure then this sounds like a bad cut and you should have insisted on going to the er.....Also since you quit without notice and if there is no incident report on file workman's comp will fight you on it..........

yea no report filed cuz they hate to file anything there biggest thing is that they do whatever not to have to report any injuries. I left it up to them cuz i didnt wanna go to the clinic if u know what i mean?
