If all of the arrears are owed to you, and none of them are owed to the state, you can agree to that if you so choose.

Is that money owed to you or to the state? If it's owed to the state, then the state would have to agree to drop it. If it's owed to you, you can agree.

I don't believe so. I had triplets, and my daughter received some SSI checks because she had low birth weight. I'm not sure if that is state or federal????

State aid would be food stamps, tanif, medicaid, section 8 housing etc.
