okay so this happend in alberta canada .
i work at a walmart in the electronics section . one day i was working with a kid named 'ricky' . there were also two people working caretaking, 'jon' and 'wyatt' . so about halfway through my shift jon and wyatt come into my section and start setting aside dvds . five or ten minutes later and highschool looking kid comes in with a whole cart full of **** . the kid ricky i work with scans through all of his **** [ dvds for caretakers included ], plus a few psp's that he got for them out of the cabnet . then he swipes the card and lets this kid leave . after he's gone i asked ricky what the deal with that was , and he told me that it was a stolen card and that he gets to keep one of the psp's just for letting them do that .
now i'm suspended from work , and i have a meeting with cops tomorow morning . i'm scared to **** here . this is one of the only times in my life when i've actually done nothing wrong , and i'm getting ****ed . is it a crime to know about a theft and not say anything ? i'm sure the cameras weren't on , because then they would know i didn't do anything . so is there any way to actually prove that i've done something short of some sort of a confession out of me ?
also i went to legal aid today and have them calling the cop station instead of me going down there tomorow . and then if i happen to get charged with something i'm going to actually get a real lawyer . is this the right move ? are these people actually going to do me good , or are they just going to hurt my cause ?

i know that's a lot of babble , and i do live in ****ing canada . but if anybody could offer any advice i would be forever gratefull . i might even shovel the snow off your walk in the winter time .
