Listen everyone of us has been that age and remember thinking we knew everything and the parents just didn't understand. You will look back one day and see that they did. Waiting a year may seem like an eternity to you now but when your flipping burgers at burger king to buy diapers for your kids because its the only job you could get, a year will seem so much different because it can change the rest of your life. There is reason you are not legally allowed to get married at your age without parental consent. It usually doesn't work and a person that age isn't mature enough to make that kind of decision. 18 is really stretching it, truth be known. You need to be able to live with yourself, for yourself, and by yourself, before you can life with some one, and for someone. Your whole life will change and you need to know you can count on you alone so you don't become one of those totally dependant women that can't make it on their own. It doesn't seem like much now but it will. Ask any of the people in here and the percentages will surprise but not anyone thats past that stage of life.
