What is the name of your state?
New Mexico

Ok, I hope this is the right category, I think its close.

OK so here is my problem, I run an internet forum with .. Well someone that I want out of here.

I met him a while back and slowly he moved into the roll as a moderator.. Then he became an admin.. At this point I/We decided to migrate to a new domain name. All the of the domain names are in my domain name and I did 99% of the work on the site.

I never said he was a partial owner, but I think he thinks he is.

Let me know what I can do, I will answer any questions.. This is causing me a big amount of stress.

Thanks in advance

Ok here's a question. What the hell do you want us to advise you on? You have not asked one specific question.

If nothing was signed and i never verbaly said.. "1/2 the site is yours" does he gain 1/2 the site by proximity? what legal doc or whatever can i throw in his face for him to give up.

and why would you want to do this? He is obviously not going to care about anything you could "show" him. Can his ass and get this over with.

But what if somewhere he found something that legaly says he has part ownership.. then i will be in a world of ****. Any other advice?

Yes, go burrow in a hole someplace. You obviously don't have the backbone to be a business owner and you don't know how to take the advice you have asked for.

We can play what-if games all day. But I have better things to do.

I have given you what you asked for. The rest is up to you.

If some magical thing somewhere womehow exists that says he does have 1/2 ownership, then he does now by default. Mind you, I very serioulsy doubt that such at hing does in fact exist.

Given that, cut off his access and tell him you no longer need his services.

Let him do the stressing...
