What is the name of your state? florida

i work for one of the major retailer(home office Illinois). According to them no part time worker can work over 30 hrs a week for a period of more than 16 week on a roll. if that happen there are suppose to become full time. every department received notification of any worker getting close to this 16 week.
the rule is if any worker pass the 12 week mark this person is suppose to be drop to 25hrs. or less for a period of 9 weeks. is any of this legal.

Agreed. Your employer is free to schedule you for as few hours or as many hours as they wish, as well as reduce your schedule to ensure your status with them remains within the classification they define as part-time.
