What is the name of your state?MAI have another posting that some of you have already read. Here is the problem. My son hasnt seen his father in 1 1/2 years, we have court on 3/29. Where he will be getting some kind of visitation. For the past year my son has only eats organic food, he has no candy (maybe a lollipop once in a great while or sugar free cookies) My son does not eat fast food and watches limeted television. I am very into this life style. And I want my ex to follow this for my son. I can pack the food for my son if that is my ex wants. I just wanted to know if there was any way that a judge could order this from my ex.

diet, smoking, tv viewing,these are still parenting choices, and each parent gets to make thier own choices while they have custody of the child.
Eventually you and your ex "should" be able to communicate together what is best for your kid. But the bottom line is, like it or not,neither one of you gets to control what goes on in the other ones house(the time to decide you did not like his smoking was BEFORE you had a baby with him....). thats just something you are going to have to get used to. having gone through this process myself, eventually you will, it just takes time. (and some mediation, and parenting classes...)
