What are my rights as grandfather in adoption?

My first grandchild was placed for adoption by my twenty
year old daughter against my wishes and that of my family.
My entire family is in mourning. My daughter contacted an adoption agency in Poulsbo, WA and gave my grand-daughter
to the adoptive parents immediately after my grand-daughter
was born on May 1, 2001. I live in California.
What are my rights as the grandfather?
I would like visitation rights, am I entitled?
Can I stop the process?
Please help me.

Grandparents don't seem to have any rights in this country!

I would suggest writing your 20 year old daughter out of your will, and leaving her share to the adopted child when they find her.
