dentist messing up

If the first dentist stated that there was decay under the crown, and he will testify to that, it brings to issue malpractice. The decay should not have been left for another, and to occur in such a short time, it not normal.

You might seek to have a lawyer review the case, and work with you. You have damages as to costs of new, redoing a partial, and the associated other costs of this treatment. Again it would be worth seeing what your dentist noted, and it is also worth checking out if he will testify to that matter. A dentist that will tell you that shoddy work exists and he needs to replace it, but will not testify to that, in my opinion is not somebody that I would want to trust, period.

I am sorry but I am away from my office and don't check into this sight as much as I can when I am teaching away from home. If you have other questions about this matter, please contact me directly, as I do check that mail more frequently,

Peer review, from my experience is set up only to redo the work, or to refund your money, not to assess penalties or other damages, and if you have a peer review settlement you will, in most cases be precluded from filing a civil action.

Hope this helps.

I'll keep you posted what happens with my situation. I'm sure glad I read Barry's advice to you as I trust his advice, plus he's kind and professional. I'll probably talk to an attorney again and will post a private message to you on my experiences & status on this dental issue. Good luck.

But

The problem would lie in getting a lawyer to take the case !. In my case could the damages be large enough to cover the attorney fee?. Read through this thread and you will see the huge dental crisis I faced a few years ago, Nobody would even look at my case.

I sent you a private message on what my dental complaint form says. Please reply to me with a private message so we don't take up this thread. If Barry reads this I'd like to ask him how enforceable is the peer review process if one wins. I'll keep you informed of my status in private messages from now on.
