I have a best friend who is going to soon be a step mother and the bio... mom is doing every thing that she can think of to distory there special day comming up in April just as starters she cut one of the girls hair so short that nothing can be done with it.... next she is trying to get every one at her the (soon to be stepmom) work place that she is white trash if any thing the bio. mother is single pregnant by a man of differnt race how do you tell a 5 and 3 year old why there sibling dose not look like them???? Is there any thing that step mom and dad can do to try to recive custody ????

A: Not even full siblings look 100% alike unless they're identical twins. So all they need to know is the sib has a different daddy. Big deal. If your friend and her stbhusband have kids, they're not going to look like the 3 & 5 yo either.

Your title asks "What can I do?" and the answer to that is nothing except keep your mouth shut. You have no dog in this fight.

As to custody, this has nothing to do with custody and it will be a waste of money for the bio-father to even file on such crap.

never said it was against the law the major issiue lays way benith or out of the box thinking this is a woman who is a unwed single mother of two one on the way who is also Catloic I am not but it still distubs me!!! my only concirn is for the two girls and there well being

The only thing i can get out of your post that someone could remotely do anything about , is the work place .

If the two work at the same place , the one being " Trashed " needs to complain to the personnel or management .

If the Person trashing ( calling ) does not work there also , she needs to file harassment , and get a restraining order for her not to call there , or have her work file harassment for harassing phone calls , to put a stop to that .

There is No grounds for change of Custody .

As the "best friend" of the step-to-be, YOU are concerned with the wellbeing of the two future stepdaughters? And you are concerned with the actions and morals of the mother of those two future stepdaughters?

You need more to do. Get a job, clean your house top to bottom, get a hobby, DO something ELSE other than MEDDLE in other people's lives, for God's sake!

First of all I just wanted some sugestinons not you telling ME that i need to get a job I have one thank you and I also have 3 children my home is spotless and I have concirn only for the girls in this case them bio. mother is worthless and she is the one that needs help the stb step mohter is a very well rounded indviulal that cares just the same as myself
