There is much more to this like the girls not being bathed for days on end and unmatched fithy clothes and a house that is a pigpen cps had been notified but nothing has been done

CPS has found nothing . I could understand your concerns if there was true neglect , but as one poster stated , you appear to be metaling more that anything .

There is no law that states a home can't be cluttered , and has to be spotless.
There is no law that says the children must have matched cloths .
There is no law that says the cloths have to be new and bought at blumingdales .

There is no law that says children can't play in the dirt and get filthy .

That's why CPS does nothing , because there is nothing to it .

I have a best friend who is going to soon be a step mother and the bio... mom is doing every thing that she can think of to distory there special day comming up in April just as starters she cut one of the girls hair so short that nothing can be done with it.... next she is trying to get every one at her the (soon to be stepmom) work place that she is white trash if any thing the bio. mother is single pregnant by a man of differnt race how do you tell a 5 and 3 year old why there sibling dose not look like them???? Is there any thing that step mom and dad can do to try to recive custody ????

Are you telling me that because my children do not look alike- that they are not happy?

Are you saying that it's a tragedy the mother is pregnant and unmarried? ummmm isn't your "friend" living in sin as we type?

I'm wondering- how is it the mom and soon to be stepmom work at the same place? Where did the soon to be stepmom meet the father? I imagine I'd find a date anywhere other than my X's place of employment

And finally~ If you have 3 kids and your house is spotless, your children aren't having ANY fun.

My daughter is Romany and a dark beauty. She looks nothing her parents, because hubby and I are pale Europeans.

I know a single (adoptive) mom with 7 kids. 2 AA, 1 from China, one from Korea and an ethnic assortment from the foster system.

And if anyone is rude/insensitive enough to ask why our kids don't look like us, I'd tell them it is NONE of THEIR BUSINESS!

Most children are color blind (when it comes to people)

ok to put it bluntly the mother is pregnant by a black man.

Be a good example and let the children know (if they even ask, most children are color blind when it comes to other people- wouldn't that be nice if adults were the same) that the color of your skin doesn't matter it's whats inside that really counts
