HI MY X'S NEW WOMAN GOT A RESTRAING ORDER AGAINST ME THE WHOLE THING WAS A LIE AND THE JUDGE WOULD NOT LISTEN I GOT THE RECORDED TAPE FROM THE COURT BECAUSE SHE COMMITTED PERJURY THAT IS PROVABLE ANYWAYS SHE IS NOW HARRASSING ME SHE IS LEAVING NOTES ON MY FRONT DOOR CALLING ECT DOES A RESTRAINING ORDER WORK BOTH WAYS? WHAT DO I DO ALL OF HER HARRASSMENT HAS BEEN LOGGED WITH THE LOCAL POLICE AND THE POLICE ARE ALSO GOING TO OPEN UP A FALSE REPORTING CASE THE NEXT TIME SHE MAKES FALSE ALLEGATIONS BECAUSE SHE HAS DONE THIS ALSO SINCE THE RESTRAING ORDER WAS ORDERED. CAN ANYONE HELP???? THIS IS A NIGHTMARE!!!!

For starters - turn off the Caps. It comes off as shouting on the 'Net and is poor netiquette.

Unless it is a mutual restraining order (I suspect it isn't), she is not barred frmo contacting you. If she's harrassing you, gather up your evidence and file for an RO against her.

sorry about the caps didn't relize it was yelling i can not determine if it is both but i thought automatically they worked both ways i was prob wrong so there are no repercussions for her ? thank you

Probably not. Basically, she's trying to get you to respond so that she can have you slapped with being in contempt of the RO against you.

yes i think she is def. looking for a reaction from me and i will not react which gets her more upset so i will go to the court tomm can i ask the judge to reverse mine at the same time the one she got on me basically states that i can not go into her home and i can not do physical abuse everything elsa on the order was crossed out by the judge like the 500 feet and all that soooo i will try to take off work and go tomm thank you guys

well thats what i say tooo but i do not know the judge basically signed a 6 month restraing order stating that maybe he thought it was ridiculous toi mean i do not break the law anyway so its really no big deal to me ya know i have no past with the police and no past with the courts so i am not sure ?????

More likely, the judge will keep restraining orders on the both of you.
