What is the name of your state? my state is ca. i need to know what goes on at a restraining order hearing? what do i need,what can i expect?what questions will they ask? should i be prepared for a drug test if i am accused of being on drugs?note;i am the one that filed the reastraing against my x from myself and our 2 children?

The judge will just ask you why you need the retraining order? Make sure you let her know that you very scared of him and you want to protect you and your children. Then after you tell your side the she will ask him if he has anything to say. You can bring a witness. If the police were involved bring the police report and any other proof that you have against him. Dont go by yourself. You will feel much better if you have some support there which will also look good in front of the judge. I dont know about the drug test. Unless he has proof it will probably only make him look desperate like he is just trying to make anything up.
