What is the name of your state? Iowa

Curious... what is a non-refundable deposit? Is that not a contradiction of terms? Also, why do landlords charge monthly rent (fees) for pets when you pay a "Non-refundable pet deposit"? Is it "because they can"?

**A: we don't know since your question was overly broad and lacks specifics.

Actually I think "because they can" is a pretty good answer.

If you don't want to pay a pet rent, tell your pet to get a job...

Make sure your pet is of age to work though, you wouldn't want to get
in trouble for putting an underage doggie or kitty to work..

"Why does a Landlord charge a non-refundable Pet Deposit?"
If you've ever seen how much damage a dog or cat has done to a house, you would know the answer to that question.
