Well so far I haven't had to have his approval for any doctor. Of course that is b/c my son was seeing one & my ex took it upon himself to start taking him to another one & before you know it there were TWO doctors giving my son his ADD medication (b/c my ex lied & told his dr that my son WASN'T currently seeing one!!). So, long story short, NEITHER doctor would treat my son anymore b/c that's against the LAW, so I had to find new doctor! This was before we went to court & the judge read my ex the riot act b/c he caught my ex in a lie about it & basically put all of that stuff under my control. The reason my son is with me during the school year is b/c the judge & my ex's own attorney knew my ex would not help my son with his school work. He told my son it wasn't HIS responsibility to help him with his home work! This to a child who has reading comprehension problem & has an Individual Education Program at school to help him. He told my son that he didn't do very well in school so my son probably wouldn't do well either. Do you see why I don't want him involved in my son's life? He's a major part of the reason my son needs counseling!
