What about what else she stated in that post? Your skipping that part, although you have replied to OP giving her advice on her question. But I will let Ohiogal argue that out with you.

My advice to OP is she should ABSOLUTELY SEEK LEGAL ADVICE. OP that does not mean at this time you should actually hire an attorney, but you should seek some consultations with an attorney in the county the case is in. They would know best on what the court and CPS in that county does on the norm in a case similar to yours.

what that means is I will get my license to do foster care and if a child comes avaible to adopt I would be free to adopt with out any delay from having a second home study.
CPS place the child in my home when he was 2 days old he is now 3 months old. I do not want o take the child away from his parents they have parenting time and all that would remain the same. they are just not ready at this point in time to be full time parents. I have talk with the baby's attorney and got some good advice. Just to clear things up I live in Muskegon county.
