Where to find table of Calif rates for WComp?

What is the name of your state? California

I've been searching online to try to find the CA rates for various categories of insurance. I know that there is a big difference between rates for clerical, carpentry, roofers, etc.

I hired a contractor who did work and now I learn didn't have worker's comp insurance and it looks as if I'm going to have to pay for the insurance he lacked. (being audited) I had no idea I'd be responsible! So I'm trying to figure out just how bad the bill could be.

I have a small business and we, of course, have worker's comp. insurance - but looks as if now we have to pay on any independant contractors who don't have it themselves! I sure learned a lesson on this one!

are you being audited from your W.C. Ins. Co? you can also check the phone book and call the many businesses that provide with the Ins type you need a quote on, I believe State Fund also provides different types of insurance, you can call them and ask for a quote, as if you were a new customer.
