What is the name of your state?ALABAMA

A SALES REP WITH CINGULAR TOLD ME I WOULD HAVE UNLIMITTED WIRELESS CALLING BETWEEN MY TWO PHONES AND ANY OTHER CINGULAR PHONE WITH SIM CARDS. THIS WAS NOT THE CASE AND I WOUND UP WITH A $2500.00 CELL BILL. THE SALES REP REFUSED TO CREDIT MY ACCOUNT FOR THE ERROR. I WANT TO FILE A CLAIM IN SMALL CLAIMS COURT. I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO FIND OUT IF THE STORE IS RUN BY AN INDIVIDUAL OR THE CORPORATION. SHOULD I FILE MY CLAIM AGAINST THE SALES REP WHO SET UP MY ACCOUNT OR THE STORE? THANKS KEVW

What is the exact wording in the contract you signed as it relates to your problem? Sales folks can offer the moon and stars but the contract you signed is what the provider will use as a valid defense to your claim. Time to read the small print.

I had a problem not the same as yours but my advise is know your names & Id # of who you spoke to, dates to spoke to someone, phone numbers that they give you to call. I bought my phone sevice from a cart at the mall even thought they are independently owned they do have to answer to corporate.

The bottom line on my problem is that I sent a certified letter to nextel. I sent one to the VP and one to the compliance dept. I also sent the letter via email to different departments of any email that I found on that site.
