All Whole Foods stores of San Francisco California are giving 1% of all proceeds over Pride weekend to SF Pride.

I don't like it. Moreover, I object to the notion that WFM values are mandatory down to employees. Why must I endorse something that I have no input towards and that I am opposed to?

They've gone to a lot of effort in creating magazines that showcase men making out (deep kissing) on the cover, and giving these out at every checkstand for free (offensive, disgusting, sends lustful gay messages to all, including to children).

What rights do I have?

I'm a new employee, and am effectively a store janitor (sweep floor, clean toilets, etc).

Hard work low pay, yet much to be given away to a small minority of people who A) did not earn it, B) do not deserve it, and C) are, as a "community" giving nothing but require special LGBT clinics and special celebration days.

Just to be clear, I'm not voicing a complaing about activity behind closed doors. I'm complaining about having to work for and to endorse something that I believe to be fundamentally wrong. Not only is it funded by my taxes, but now it is funded by my employer. Not only is it funded by my employer, entire company policy dictates that I am to endorse this. Not only that, but I'm not making enough to live on and am effectively in "check to check" survival. A wage slave.

"Pride" now means LGBT. It's funded by corporate and tax money; fueled by UN and activist group propaganda. San Francisco closes the library and roads and encourages it. Tax dollars are spent to make a mess, in my city. And by mess, I mean trash, food packaging, and other detritus discarded all over. You'll find condoms, poo, and defecation the next day. This is apparently something to be proud of. But I am not proud of my city, seeing this.

What options do I have? Can I refuse to work? Should I call in sick? Should I just "suck it up" so to speak, and come in and do my job?

Thank you,

Get a new job.

And I REALLY restrained my wording on this.

A little wad of angry, looking for a target to throw himself at. So it happens to be his curret employer. Aren't they lucky to have him? Or maybe he can later find an assault weapon to shoot at someone he has selected as worthy of being shot. Or best of all, find a new job, a new location, lots of luck in your search for like minded individuals to reinforce your beliefs.

You have the right to go work for a company whose values you support.

Chic Fil A may be hiring. Oh wait, they actually donated food to those standing line in Orlando on a SUNDAY to donate blood to help the victims of the shooting at Pulse -- the gay nightclub. Donald Trump might be hiring. Of course his businesses are going down the drain due to his bigotry and the lawsuits. Let's see.... Does the KKK own any businesses?

I'm looking for legal advice.

As usual, useless SJWs can't see past the pet hates that they love to project on everyone else to force them into agreement (and often force censorship). I am not asking if my opinion is popular. I'm looking for advice from those who know the law.

How is this any different than requiring employees wear rosary beads and crosses, to support company's proceeds going to the pope (or other special interest groups) while the employee worked to simply pay rent and feed myself. It is oppressive to coerce the endorsement (with no "day without a gay" equivalent)? Put on your principled thinking thinking caps and think about it.

The "core values" promote socially conferred benefits (advantages that result from mere membership in a particular social group). Employee X didn't have any say in the company values. Employee X is required to not only endorse and pledge allegiance to the special minority group's flag and that for which it stands (special privilege bigotry and problem causing), but moreover, his work will fund them. However, X opposes this, opposes the creation of social norms that appear neutrally to uphold privilege on LGBT status, and opposes the very notion that he is supposed to go along to get along.

What are "SWJ" people?

I won't withhold words here. You are a disgusting vile human being. A scourge. A pestilence. Run along now tiny little person and roll yourself back under the rock from which you oozed out from under and let the rest of the decent human race continue to operate. You don't deserve to walk amongst good people.

Okay Ape. You were given the legal answer -- find a company who agrees with your values and work for them. Does everyone working for Chic Fil A or Hobby Lobby support their narrow minded views? They didn't get a vote. But they can get another job. Again, go work for a company that aligns more with your beliefs.

I'm aware of WF hiring practices and honestly, i'm surprised such an "ape" made their way through them into the company. Guess their hiring people slipped  ;)

The most vocal and dumbest SJW shouting her inability to grasp the concepts of civil rights and conscientious objection. Such insufferable behavior probably explains the lack of inspired legal insight here.

It took you that many words when "I'm getting the right answer, but not the one I want" would suffice?

Civil rights and conscientious objection do not apply to employment in the manner you envision. You are not forced to work for Whole Foods. You are not being illegally discriminated against by Whole Foods.

You WERE given proper legal advice. It's not everyone else's fault that your lesser evolved ape brain cannot grasp it.
