Even if she does go to her bio dad, you can petition for visitation, If he is not already active in the child's life most likely he won't fight you, and if foster care is ordered you may still have some chance, but the longer you delay the less your chances are.

It's called a temporary custody order and restraining order. GET THEM!!!!

You could possibly be granted temporary custody (of 15 y.o) until the biodad can be reached. (most agencies that I have been around would rather leave child with step-parent until bio-parents can be reached, rather than putting the child in the system) But it would only be temporary and they would contact bio-dad.

BUT don't PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE leave that 15 y/o in the house to deal with the fall out of you leaving with the baby. If mom is that bad, your leaving could be the final push over the edge.
