What do you want to bet what the OP thinks is an SSN is actually a TIN, Taxpayer Identification Number? That's what is issued by the IRS to an individual who can't get an SSN, but who still needs to file a tax return reporting non-wage income.

On the back of my chexsystems file/report, it says my social security number hasnt been isssued by the ssa. i want to know if banks see that when i apply or if they just check to see if i just have a file with chexsystems and that theres been no abuse/fraud/nsf's/excessive inquiries.
