What is the name of your state?texas, i need some advice,is chapter seven still able to be filed? i owe a "student loan" or so they are calling it that
for 10,000 are no student loans dischargeable? and if i do declare chapter seven can my wife be made to sell her vehicles whcih are not in either one of our names as assets? please someone help me?

:( According to our attorney and our case file - student loans in almost all cases are not dischargeable.

No Student loans are NOT dischargeable. You also are not giving very much information. Are you saying the cars are not in your name?? are you leasing the vehicles?? borrowing them from family?? Yes chapter 7 can still be filed...if you have other debts that you want to discharge. However it is based on your debt to income. How much do you have left over every month after you pay bills and expenses?
