What is the name of your state? WI

Can anyone tell me what the SOL is in Wisconsin, as well as any other "laws" or regulations I should know about in Wisconsin? Are there any laws on garnishments? how much can they legally take out of my checks??

SOL for credit cards in WI is 6 years. WI is one of the very few states that expressly prohibits collection or lawsuits on time-barred debts. If the SOL has passed and they are still pursuing you, they are in violation of WI law.

In WI, 80% of your net pay is exempt, so all they could get from you is 20% in a wage garnishment.
