What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Indiana

I am being called as a witness for an arbitration between company and union. Both sides/lawyers are asking to meet with me before testifying. Is this ok? Should the company know that I spoke to the union, should the union know that I spoke to the company? I feel like I'm stuck in the middle.

Tell them "no", unless you want to talk with them. The ONLY way they can force you is to subpoena you in a deposition.

I'd certainly tell both sides you talked with the other side.
