women/men and child sup-need new laws

I am writing this to find out if any state thinks like myself. When clild support is paid by a spouse the receiving party should have to show how the money was spent...not blown on alcohol or drugs...maybe like a LINK card in Illinois that rejects unallowable purchases. Just wandering.??>

Ok. My husband and I (because I help pay too) fork over quite a bit of child support every month, and even we know that regardless of whether or not the child support is used for booze or to buy kids stuff, the point is, the parents spend money on kids. Whether your child support directly buys clothes or reimburses mommy for buying clothes, the point is, you are helping care for your child.

The point is the recipiant of the child support, in some occasions blow the money, along with their own and the children are left without. Not that I am bitter,I have never been divorced, I have one child and she live's with me, her mother died in a car accident 1 1/2 years ago. Thank You

So the child has no roof over their head, no food to eat, no heat in the winter and air in the summer, no clothes on their back, no transportation, no school supplies, babysitting as needed, NOTHING?? hmm.

The problem with that is you are continually paying support as you go along as the CP. ie; My child(ren) needs money for the book fair, so I give it to them. They need shoes, clothes or we go out to eat or grocery shopping REGARDLESS of whether I've received child support yet that month. So, when child support comes it goes into the bank account.

The system you are suggesting would mean children could miss out on school pictures, book fairs, or activities or neccesities by 'waiting' for child support to come. Most things have timeframes with which they need to be done in...and can't always be relegated to one specific time each month when child support comes in. (Especially for those of us who receive it anytime between the 1st and the 30th of the month)

I certainly don't purchase drugs and rarely purchase alcohol, so that has no bearing on the situation.

I do live in a financilly strapped community meth rate is high. And yes I have one close friend that pays his c/p on time every month and no it doesn't get spent on the children 850.00/month for 2 children she works no where and this amount of income allows her to be elidgable for government housing and food-medicaid. school pics clothes shoes the works still have to be bought by my friend and his parents. no she has no car for transportation, and I can take you to the bar where she hangs out 4-6 nights a week I understand a few bad apples give all a bad rep. Just because you are good doesn't mean everyone is. Anymore questions????
