Here's hoping that IAAL or Beagle pick up the bait:
latest chapter of my saga has me receiving a bill for $291.00 from my now nine yr. old's dentist for "bleaching and trays". I have spoken to the dentist who told me he advised my ex not to have these treatments done on an eight yr. old, she persisted so he went along with it ( he now wishes he hadn't). Of course, despite joint shared custody I was never consulted.
After researching and speaking with various dentists, I have sent my ex's lawyer a cease and desist letter today requesting that the trays and solutions be returned to the dentist. I have threatened to go before the judge with this if the ex refuses. My question is regarding the nature and wording of the motion I am filing, is it a show cause or a request for injunction or some other form that would be more appropriate in this situation.
Thanks in advance for any input. JY
